Application:

Designed with easy access filters, directional outlet louvers and powerful suction to remove fine dust and fiber contaminants from welding, cutting, grinding, or sanding operations. The system will create 15 air changes per hour to keep up with heavy smoke and gases. This system will also enhance the facilities heat distribution in winter by de-stratifying the air. Highest efficiency removal down to 98% at 1 micron size particles. 

Filter Media:

Clark Air Systems utilizes the longest life, lowest maintenance filters available: 

1st stage:
Multi-ply, depth loading, Panel filters with tackified media. The large amount of media in the air cleaner is designed to keep maintenance to a minimum. These 35% efficient filters catch the bulk of the fibers generated from welding, cutting, grinding, or sanding operations. 

2nd stage:
92% initial efficiency pocket filters catche fine dust particles rated at 92% removal of particles 3 micron or larger.  

Optional gas phase 3rd stage:
Mini CP extended surface pleated filters designed for maximum odor removal in a small package. The activated carbon media used is secured in an open structure by a newly developed bonding system. All plastic frame is lightweight and free of metal pats eliminating the risk of corrosion and punctures.

Maintenance:

Replacement of filters periodically. Only a few minutes are required to replace any filter. The frequency depends on conditions. Average six months on the final filter. Magnehelic filter gauge is to monitor filter resistance. 

Cabinet:

The units are constructed with 16 gauge welded steel. Hinged, gasketed door allows easy access to all stages of filtration. The entire unit is finished with a corrosion resistant baked-on powder coating. The welded steel handles are also powder coated.
